5 FUN Christmas Show Inspired Workouts

Argh!  The kiddos are going to be on Christmas break for 2 weeks this year!  However will I get my workout in with them at home?

That’s a common question that I get this time of the year and one I’ve struggled with in the past with 3 at home myself.

I’ve tried many different things, but these holiday inspired workouts have worked best in the past.  The kiddos get to watch their favorite Christmas specials, I get my workout in AND they can easily join in if they want, which they do often!

Just play the Christmas show, special or movie listed in the calendar (feel free to use the different versions of Frosty or Rudolph to keep the kiddos AND YOU engaged).  Then follow the workout (exercises) listed in the picture graphic that link to the word(s) in the movie.

For example, when Rudolph is playing, you’ll perform 10 squats each time the word RUDOLPH is said in the movie.  You’ll have some nice looking buns, hips and legs after that show!

Here’s the calendar of workouts for the 2 weeks of Christmas vacation so you can vary your workouts, hit all the major muscle groups, build strength, get in cardio (both endurance and high intensity), gain flexibility with some yoga AND challenge your brain as well by staying focused and listening for the key words.  Now thats a workout for the ENTIRE body!
