I love summertime! The longer hours mean more time I can spend doing fun stuff with my kiddos, husband, family and friends. To us, that usually means more time spent outside at the pool or beach. Bring it on!
Between the great weather, longer daylight hours and time to spend with those I love, the last thing I want to do is be stuck in a gym for hours working out.
Now don’t get me wrong….I still want to get my workout in, I just don’t want it to take me hours to do it.
So I’ve come up with a way to get the most impact from my workouts, without them taking me hours to complete. I get my strength training in, both upper and lower body, and cardio to torch those calories and make me feel less guilty about the extra trips to the ice cream stand with my girls this time of year. 😉
